This is an eight-week film discussion and therapeutic process group. We will examine many of the nuances of sexual harm, primarily through the lenses of seven modern filmmakers and their work (see list below). In this discussion group, we also consider how and if we engage with our own stories of harm; including how we heal in an ever-evolving, post-#MeToo world. All prompts in this course will be “opt-in,” meaning you do not have the obligation to share anything if you do not want. We’ll center around film discussion, as well as the ways we relate to our own stories through creative lenses.
